Before Mason left for Europe CI Collinson asked him to complete a circle. This WW1 Service Medal with the name H. L. Squires was found in a box at an auction and after an extensive search no known family members could be found. Mason was asked to complete the circle by returning it to the museum in Passchendaele so this soldier will not be forgotten.
