TGIF

When I worked, I loved Friday's.  We had casual Friday's, RB supplied donuts in the morning and we always went out for lunch.  The only thing I miss about work is the fantastic people I worked with and the espresso machine.  I bought an espresso machine and follow most of my ex co-workers on Facebook. 

This has been a quiet week as we are both battling a weird bug.  Here's some interesting stuff I've seen over the last couple of days.

Yesterday, around 1 PM, I got this text from my daughter!
If you are watching the news you will know there is an incident at our office.  We are all safe sheltering in place.  I'll tell you about it later.
We didn't see the noon news!  It was a serious bomb threat!  The RCMP handled it well and they never found anything.  It went on for a few hours and was the first item on the evening news!  Even though your daughter is 43, you never stop worrying.

This is at a Surrey School right now.  I think it's funny but it's not going over well with others.

Gas prices in Vancouver have hit an all time high.  Regular gas is $1.559/Litre
Thanks to our provincial government we are getting an additional 1.14 cent a litre carbon tax added on April 1st, no joke

We have a snowfall warning!  Let's hope they are wrong.
