We woke up to no power. At least it was a sunny day but you forget what it's like to be without internet, coffee, and the morning news. The power outage was most of Cloverdale and even made a spot on the evening news.
We had reservations for brunch with Paula and Gordon at Bacchus Bistro, one of our favorite places at Chaberton Winery. We've been here lots of times and it never disappoints. Brunch was delicious!
After brunch, our power was still out and wasn't scheduled to be back on until 5 PM, so we decided to go to Fort Langley to check the antique shops. What a great idea.
