The Flying Beaver

Yesterday, we went to The Flying Beaver, more commonly known as The Soaring Rodent in Richmond.  It's located near the South Terminal of the Vancouver International Airport and is also the terminal for Harbour Air's sea planes.

I worked with Jerry, Laurie, Alix and Wilma at Pacific Western Airlines in the 70's and 80's.  We've remained friends and try to get together a few times a year.  Wilma is a Marriage Commissioner and has some awesome stories.  Alix is about to become a grandmother for the first time.  Jerry updated us on his two granddaughters and Laurie is planning some wonderful trips.  We always have a lot of laughs and The Flying Beaver is a great place for lunch especially when you get a table on the patio.
