Washington Avenue Grill

On the White Rock beach is this fabulous restaurant.  The Washington Avenue Grill (WAG to the locals) has been a favorite place of ours for many years.  If you register on their website, they send you a birthday email.  It's good for a $25 discount the month of your birthday.  Yesterday we used our coupon!

We woke up to blue sky and wonderful sunshine!  WAG was open for lunch and it seemed like a nice day to do lunch at the beach.  It was very busy considering it's January and COVID.  Most restaurants are very quiet.

Cec had the short ribs.  I was going to have the scallop and prawn salad, but when I got there I decided to order the fish tacos.  I'd never had them at WAG, and they were fabulous.  I've had fish taco's at many restaurants and never seen the amount of fish these had!  They had two or three tacos on their menu.  I ordered three but two were filling.  I'd certainly order them again.
