We caught the ferry from Tsawwassen at 10:15 and got into Nanaimo two hours later Our friends Margaret and Dave met us at this English Pub in Nanaimo for lunch. It was wonderful! We sat outside and had a delicious lunch and a great visit. It was in a gorgeous setting and not far from Duke Point.
After a very long lunch, we drove to Campbell River. This is the Campbell River. The pinks are running and there were lots of fishermen fly fishing in the early evening.
We walked down the Campbell River pier. Lots of people doing evening fishing. It was so cool we wore coats! The weather was sunny but the wind was strong and it's so nice to have a fresh ocean breeze.
