Last night we met our tour guide Nicole Hersey. She works for Maritime Travel and has been in the travel industry for 25 years. She conducts many tours for Maritime in Eastern Canada. Three of our 23 fellow passengers have been on her tours. The coach is deluxe, carries 56 passengers, has a washroom, video and wi-fi. However once we get into Newfoundland there is no wi-fi. Cell service is sporadic so if I ignore your messages, that's why. I will blog whenever I get service.
We woke up today with clear blue skies. The weather looks good for the next few days according to my Weather Network app. At our reception yesterday, Nicole announced the Marine Atlantic Ferry to Port-aux-Basques, NL instead of leaving at 11 PM tonight, will now leave at 4:15 AM tomorrow. It is a planned maintenance servicing. We are having dinner at a hotel in North Sydney and we now have rooms at that hotel and will leave at 2 AM! Sounds like a fun night.
