A lovely day in Quebec City

This is my third trip to Quebec City to board a ship.  We docked this time at Terminal 30 which is a distance from the closer terminal.  They offered free shuttles to the draw bridge.

We got to the draw bridge as it was opening for a sail boat!  Nice to see how it worked.
There was a lock that the ship went in, the water raised and then moved on.

It was difficult to get this entire building in the picture.  It was awesome art!

From far away, this looked like a recycle place.  When you got closer....

It was books!   All the ones I saw were French.

The famous Funiculaire

Lots of flowers still in bloom.  We also saw a lot of pumpkins.

There is the book art with a Fred Olson cruise ship in the background.  There was a Silver Sea cruise ship in front of it.  They got the dock closer to town,  We got the new cruise port that was very nice, but further from town.  I checked Uber price of a XL car from the ship to the Chateau Frontenac and it was only $14.00.  We decided to walk instead as it was such a nice day.  We've been here before.  Lots of people walking and we took our coats off it was so warm!  The trees are changing colour and it's a wonderful site.

We now have two glorious days at sea.

It's time for Aunty Acid
