Hello Quebec City

Departing after 7 days on a cruise ship!
It's AI but looks about right.
I thought those pictures were funny.  True, but funny.  This cruise is 14 days!  Oh my!  We boarded the Princess Shuttle from Montreal to Quebec City at the airport yesterday.  It was a lovely drive with a lot of fall colours!   It took a longer time as traffic was very heavy.  We never got to the ship until after 5.

The ship was at a different dock than my other two Quebec City cruises. It's a brand new facility.  I'm not sure if we have shuttle buses to town but if we don't it will be a long walk.  Cec's medallion didn't work and they directed us to the Pursers Office where they quickly replaced it.

We were an hour late for dinner, no problem.  We sat with other cruisers from Ottawa that were on a Casino credit!  These people don't go to shows, but spend a lot of time in the casino.  Gambling is their passion.  We had a great conversation.

One of the ladies was vegetarian so they brought the vegan menu so she would have more choices than the two vegetarian selection on the regular menu.  I ordered the mahi mahi with mango and it was delicious.  Cec had the seafood stew and it was good also.  We both had garlic prawns as a starter.  Dessert came and I had a Mexican coffee and Cec had creme brule.  The food was hot and very tasty.

We were so late with dinner, we went to the late show in the theatre.

This show was excellent.  A lovely singer who sang songs from Sinatra, The Rat Pack a got in a couple of Irving Berlin songs.  Very personable and very talented.

We sail at 6 PM today headed for Halifax.  Two wonderful sea days.

So many things to celebrate today

Here are today's celebrations.  I am about to drink an espresso, have some cashews and cranberries and go to the SPCA and check out the ...
