Thank you Brent Chapman

This clip from the BC Legislature is Brent Chapman, MLA for Surrey South.  He doesn't mention names, but we all know who he is referring to:


A group of men in their trucks go to local supermarkets and pick up food that is near it's expiry date and take it to homeless areas, food banks, street pantries. 

Some of the volunteers take it to a local warehouse where people from all over the lower mainland pick it up and take it to their communities.  

They went to a local church and took a lot of food that needed quick refrigeration.  They knew it would all get taken quickly.  When I asked "why a church", he said "seniors and families are all having a hard time making ends meet".  All the food was taken as they left church!
