The White Rock Pantry

There has been a pantry for seniors and the homeless in White Rock at 1510 Johnston Road for some time.  It was getting a little worn, so the good guys at Men's Shed and the Rotary Club built another one!  I follow the Facebook page "White Rock Pantry Project". 

The Rotary Club of White Rock picks up food at local grocery stores and fills the pantry throughout the day.  

I took these pictures off the Facebook page.  It's great to see when people actually cook too much for dinner and make plates for seniors and post it on Facebook for them to pick up!  This person made all these sandwiches and put in a bag with juice and dessert and labelled every bag!

We have a lot of upstanding people in this area!
