This is our first full day at sea. We have five days at sea before we get to Hawaii. I find days at sea very relaxing. We slept in and a wonderful sleep it was. Our cabin is far aft and very quiet. The people on this cruise are older and there are more Canadians on this ship than any other country. It rarely happens and it's nice to see so many people from Canada. So far, we've only met and spoken to Canadians!
We missed breakfast in the dining room so we went to the buffet. Great selections of breakfast food. My cousins Julie and Laurie are on this cruise. It's easy to find them using the app. They found us at breakfast and we sat and chatted for over an hour. Nice to get caught up, Then we went to the Enrichment talk all about Hawaii. Laurie and Julie went to line dancing but weren't that interested so the joined the talk. We all went for lunch to the buffet. The dining room was open but the buffet was closer! Too funny.
After a long lunch with more catch up Laurie, Cec and I went to Progressive Trivia. Julie went for a swim. Trivia was fun. We matched up with a nice couple from Edmonton!
Dinner in the dining room was very good. Tonight was scallop night and they were cooked to perfection. After dinner we went to the theatre and saw Willis White.
Willis sang Lionel Ritchie and The Commodores music. His energy and voice were excellent.
One thing about this ship, there are two show lounges and after the main theatre, the Universal Lounge that's two stories high (and this is a small ship) they have yet another entertainer. Tonight it was the couple from Hawaii. We saw his Enrichment Show earlier and his wife was with him. They sang a lot of Hawaiian songs, a hula demonstration and some ukulele playing
After this show, we went to Movie Poster Trivia. It was fun and we didn't know half of them! It doesn't matter as it's always fun and you get some good laughs, Then we shut down Crooners Bar. It's the piano and vocal entertainer. He played requests and it was a relaxing nice way to end the night,
Our clocks go back one hour, so maybe tomorrow we will get up in time for breakfast in the dining room!
