I have eaten once before at a Brazilian Steakhouse in another city and really enjoyed it. Cheryl, Dave and Lexie invited us to celebrate Cec's birthday at this new restaurant in Langley. They had not been there before and we were happy to try it.
A Brazilian steakhouse is a restaurant that serves churrasco—Brazil’s famous style of all‑you‑can‑eat grilled meats carved right at your table. Servers (called gauchos) walk around with large skewers of beef, pork, chicken, sausages, ribs and lamb, slicing portions for you until you say stop. Dessert was cooked pineapple with cinnamon on a skewer sliced at your table. It was delicious.
You start with some appetizers, a small plate and tongs. They circulate the restaurant with skewers of meat. They cut it and you take it with your tongs. They have a wonderful salad bar with large plates. The selections were excellent. Lexie is a vegetarian and she had plenty to eat. We had a bottle of wine and a jug of sangria. The sangria was excellent!
