Today is our last sea day. It's 65F and the sun is peaking through the clouds. The sea is calm and we are on our way to France.
There are many activities going on. Our Princess status is Elite, and one perk is Afternoon Tea in your room. Cheryl, Lexie, Jean and I are really looking forward to it. Cec and Dave will appear anywhere there is food, so we ordered it for a treat. It will spoil dinner, but Princess has the best afternoon tea I’ve experienced at sea to date. I am looking forward to trying Cunard’s afternoon tea next June!
The show tonight is the final Production show featuring the singers and dancers called Encore. I haven’t seen it so I’m really looking forward to it.
Tomorrow we are in La Havre. We’ve chosen the WW II Canadian Landing Beaches tour. It’s a long day. We leave at 8:45 AM and return at 6:45 PM. We will have a late dinner and go to the show. It’s a female vocalist they say is awesome. Then we must pack our suitcases and put them outside by midnight. I won’t have time to blog, but Friday we will be at Heathrow for some time. Princess offers tours to Stonehenge and Windsor Castle with a Heathrow drop off. We’ve done both, so we’ve got Mark picking us up at Ocean Terminal in Southampton at 10 AM, our flight is at 5:30! I will try to download pictures from our Juno Beach experience from the airport.
