We
stayed overnight in Quebec City. Most cruises do an overnight, which is great. It’s a beautiful city and there is so much to see.
After breakfast Lexie and I took the Hop On Hop Off bus once again. Lucky for us, someone left the front seats open so we had a front seat, top deck. When we were almost done, the torrential rain started! It was sunny at first but a storm cloud came over and it was a very heavy downpour. It only lasted 15 minutes but enough to completely soak us. I didn’t pack the rain ponchos or the umbrella, a mistake I won’t repeat.
We walked back to the ship and had a quick lunch. We went back to the Chateau Frontenac and caught the bus to Montmorency Falls. The tour stopped at the bottom of the falls. There was a gondola up to the top, but I just read on Twitter about the Sea to Sky Gondola “major lift incident” and we decided to pass.
Tonight there is a Broadway Ballroom singing and dancing show in the theatre. Movies under the Stars is showing “The Old Man and the Gun”. There are many other activities so we’ll see what the rest of the day brings.
