Day 4 - Tortola, British Virgin Islands

We were two hours late arriving as the seas were so rough last night.  The Captain changed the departure time by two hours, so we never lost any time in Tortola.  The island is gorgeous.  The weather turned very quickly and we had a tropical downpour.  That's why it's so green.  Then the sun came out again.  We did an island tour from Princess.  Excellent tour guide.  He told us his daughter, Chanele Malone has qualified for the 2024 Olympics in Paris!  She is a runner and long jumper.  We will cheer for her.

This is Road Town where we docked, the capital of Tortola.  It only has 9,600 residents.  Our tour took us to Cane Garden Bay, Smugglers Cove and we stopped at Pussers Landing.  It was a very enjoyable tour.

Thursday when we saw the Production Show, I forgot to report the dancers didn't have on high heels as I saw on the last performance, but ballet type slippers!  Good for them as the stage was moving and no one fell!   Also, they announced all the games of the World Series will be shown on board for those who follow baseball.

It was Italian night in the dining room.  The appetizers and entrees were delicious.  Both Cec and I had the tiramisu and it was excellent.  There was a guitar player in the theatre, a musical game show that was hysterical in Princess Live and we ended the night in the Wheelhouse Bar where there is a very talented pianist.
