Leaving Antigua. |
Yesterday, we went to Antigua. It's the only port we didn't book a shore excursion. We've been there before. When we got up, it was raining. It did stop raining around noon, but we decided just to enjoy the ship. Even though it rained, the temperatures were a low of 26C/78.8F and a high of 29C/84.2F.
I had an event on my calendar: Richard's horse; Miss Vyvyanne, was racing at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto in Race #2 at 1:49 PM, Eastern Time. After lunch we returned to our room so I could watch it on my laptop, live! She's horse #4 in Race #2. She was injured during her last race and we wondered if she would recover.
Dinner was good again in the dining room. After dinner we went to the theatre and saw Yaniv Zarif with a wonderful performance where he sang songs from the West End and Broadway musicals. His voice is awesome. Then off to Musical Bingo. We played it on Cunard but this one was a little different and lots of fun. Then off to the piano bar again to hear the wonderful pianist. We thrilled for Richard that Miss Vyvyanne has a full recovery!
