After a good night sleep, we got up and took an Uber to the bus station. Our Uber driver was probably 75 and used a cane! We've always had young people but she was a delight! Her name was Lynda, what can I say.
When I researched coming home, I found Megabus. A double decker bus that would take us to Pearson airport from Kingston. It made three stops, but I knew we would see a lot. I booked seats that cost extra. My seat was broken! After two hours on the bus, we got to our first stop and I managed to get another seat below on the lower level. Much better but husband was upstairs, oh well.
We stopped in Scarborough and when we got to the Toronto bus station, we had to get off the bus. The driver said the bus was "out of service". It was fine, they just needed to get back to Montreal. A very nice fellow took us to a ticket window, did all the booking and got us ticket on the UP train from union station to Pearson airport. We walked with our luggage through the bus station then to "Scotia Arena", then through a mall and into union station! Quite the walk but when we got to the UP train, it was awesome! The train was very quiet, comfortable seats and a place to put your luggage. The bus would have taken us one hour with the traffic. I'm not sure how long the train was, but it was really nice, Next time, if there is one, I will book Via Rail and UP train.
Our flight from Toronto to Vancouver was on time. We had a nice flight home, but a long day. It's always nice to come home!
