Yesterday we took the longest day trip Gray Line operates! They picked us up at 730 AM and we returned at 11:00 PM. The day was spectacular. I will not even try to give you the names of the waterfalls as I don't have an Icelandic keyboard.
After this waterfall we stopped Vik for lunch. Then our longest drive to Diamond Beach and the Glacier! I have seen glaciers in Canada, but never seen a glacier as wide as this was. It emptied into the North Atlantic. The icebergs were a sight I will never forget!
Diamond Beach, named that because the glaciers melt on the black sand and look like diamonds.
After Diamond Beach we went to the waterfall you can walk behind!

| Lexie is under the waterfall and Cheryl is coming down the hill. They both got soaked! Glad I stayed dry and took pictures. |
You would never get a tour like this from a cruise ship as it's too long and there are no close ports. It's in the south. The glacier is at the blue dot on the right and we started in Reykjavik. We travelled 860 km/535 miles. A day I will never forget! IT WAS AMAZING!
