Buying a car

I'm a little late with my blog and I apologize.  Yesterday was a crazy day.  I was picking up a friend at 9 AM and we were scheduled to go to a seminar on river cruising by Scenic river cruises.  My car wouldn't start!  Oh my, do we need a new car?  I love my Honda Pilot, it's comfortable and I love driving it!  I called Sue and she picked me up.  I called BCAA and they said it was the battery!  Thank you, didn't need a huge repair bill.

The seminar was wonderful.  The day got busier and crazier and of course with no sleep because the Toronto Blue Jays and Los Angeles Dodgers decided to play 18 innings I was overtired.  I am trying to catch up this morning.  Car is fixed everything else is under control!   However, we did think about getting a new car but as it was only the battery we will continue to drive our beast.  I found this article that I thought I would share:

We Canadians, have a responsibility to support our workers in the automobile manufacturing plants, as best we can in these uncertain times.  If you are in the market for a new vehicle and wish to buy one of the brands below, please buy a Canadian BUILT product.

Here's is the answer. Look at the first digit in the VIN (from left to right). If it starts with a 1, it is US built. (Leave it on the lot)

If it starts with 2 it is CANADIAN built. (BUY IT!!)

If the first digit is 3, well that's better than buying a "1" as 3 is built in MEXICO!!

Let's do our bit and buy CANADIAN or Mexican made vehicles!
