Andrew formerly known as Prince

King Charles did the right move.  I like how he acknowledged the victims and survivors of Jeffrey Epstein.

I'm pleased Andrew, formerly known as Prince, is vacating this 30 room Royal Lodge mansion in Windsor whose grounds extend to 98 acres.  Andrew and his former wife Sarah have resided there for the past two decades.  It was previously occupied by the Queen Mother until her death in 2002.

The palace is saying Andrew Mountbatten Windsor as he is now known as will move into a property on the private Sandringham Estate.  It's reported it will be privately funded by King Charles.

I'm sorry Virginia Giuffre isn't here to see this.  Giuffre (then known by her maiden name Virginia Roberts) asserted that she was raped by Andrew on three occasions, including a trip to London in 2001 when she was 17, and later in New York and on Little Saint, US Virgin Islands.. She alleged Epstein paid her $15,000 to have sex with Andrew in London.

Some good advice from a director of a Beijing Hospital

Many diseases are not diseases, but normal aging. The director of a Beijing hospital gave these pieces of advice to the elderly:

You are not sick, you are getting old. Many conditions which you think are diseases are not diseases, but signals that the body is aging.

1. Poor memory is not Alzheimer's disease, but a self-protection mechanism of the elderly brain. This is the brain getting old, not a disease. If you just forget where you put your keys, but you can find them yourself, it is NOT dementia.

2. Walking slowly and having unsteady legs and feet' is not paralysis, but muscle degeneration. The solution is NOT to take medicine, but to move.

3. Insomnia is not a disease but the brain is adjusting its rhythm. It is a change in sleep structure. Don't take sleeping pills indiscriminately. Long-term dependence on sleeping pills and other drugs to fall asleep will increase the risk of falls, cognitive impairment, etc. The best sleeping pill for the elderly is to get more sun during the day and maintain a regular schedule.

4. Body aches are not rheumatism, but a normal reaction to nerve aging.

5. Many elderly people say: My arms and legs hurt everywhere. Is it rheumatism or bone hyperplasia? Bones do become loose and thin, but 99% of 'body pain' is not a disease, but a slow nerve conduction, which amplifies the pain. This is called central sensitization, a common physiological change in the elderly. Exercise is the cure rather than taking medicine.

6. Cholesterol. The elderly have slightly higher cholesterol levels because they have lived longer. Cholesterol is the raw material for synthesizing hormones and cell membranes. Too low a level can easily reduce immunity. The Guidelines for the blood pressure reduction target of the elderly is <150/90 mmHg, not the standard of young people <140/90. Don't treat aging as illness.

7. Aging is not a disease, it is a necessary path.

A few words should be said to the elderly and their children:

First, remember, NOT all discomfort is a disease.

Second, many elderly are afraid of being 'scared'. Don't be scared by the physical examination report or fooled by advertisements.

Third, the most important thing for children is not to take their parents only to the hospital but to accompany them for walks, sunbathing, eating, and talking and bonding.

Aging is not the enemy. It's another word for living .. but stagnation is the enemy !

Stay healthy

A Brazilian oncologist said,

1. Middle age begins at 50 and should end at 70.

2. The Golden years begin at 70 and end at 80.

3. Old age begins at 80 and ends at 90.

4. Longevity begins at 90 and ends after death.

5. The main problem of an elderly person is loneliness. Usually spouses don't die together, someone goes first. A widow or widower becomes a burden to their family. That's why it's so important not to lose touch with friends, to get together and communicate frequently, so as not to be a burden to your children and grandchildren, who will probably never say so.

My personal recommendation is to not lose control of your life. This means deciding when and with whom to go out, what to eat, how to dress, who to call, what time to sleep, what to read, what to have fun with, what to buy, where to live, etc. Because if you can't do all these things freely and on your own, you'll become an unbearable person who will be a burden on others.

William Shakespeare said, "I am always happy!" Do you know why? Because I don't expect anything from anyone. Waiting is always agonizing. Problems aren't eternal; they always have a solution. We believe we are to blame for our problems. The only one for which there is no cure is death.

Before reacting... breathe deeply;

Before speaking... listen;

Before criticizing... look at yourself;

Before writing... think carefully;

Before attacking... surrender;

Before dying... live the most beautiful life you can!

The best relationship isn't with the perfect person, but with someone who has learned and is learning to live as interestingly and beautifully as possible. Notice other people's shortcomings... but also admire and praise their virtues.

If you want to be happy, you have to make someone else happy. If you want something, you must first give something of yourself. You need to surround yourself with good, friendly, and interesting people and be one of them.

Remember, in difficult times, even with tears in your eyes, stand up and say with a smile: "Everything is okay, because we are the fruits of an evolutionary process."

Buying a car

I'm a little late with my blog and I apologize.  Yesterday was a crazy day.  I was picking up a friend at 9 AM and we were scheduled to go to a seminar on river cruising by Scenic river cruises.  My car wouldn't start!  Oh my, do we need a new car?  I love my Honda Pilot, it's comfortable and I love driving it!  I called Sue and she picked me up.  I called BCAA and they said it was the battery!  Thank you, didn't need a huge repair bill.

The seminar was wonderful.  The day got busier and crazier and of course with no sleep because the Toronto Blue Jays and Los Angeles Dodgers decided to play 18 innings I was overtired.  I am trying to catch up this morning.  Car is fixed everything else is under control!   However, we did think about getting a new car but as it was only the battery we will continue to drive our beast.  I found this article that I thought I would share:

We Canadians, have a responsibility to support our workers in the automobile manufacturing plants, as best we can in these uncertain times.  If you are in the market for a new vehicle and wish to buy one of the brands below, please buy a Canadian BUILT product.

How can you tell if it's Canadian made?

Here's is the answer. Look at the first digit in the VIN (from left to right). If it starts with a 1, it is US built. (Leave it on the lot)

If it starts with 2 it is CANADIAN built. (BUY IT!!)

If the first digit is 3, well that's better than buying a "1" as 3 is built in MEXICO!!

Let's do our bit and buy CANADIAN or Mexican made vehicles!

Princess Plus, is it worth it, do the math.

I never saw anyone abusing alcohol on our last cruise

Princess Plus is an add on Princess Cruises has that covers alcohol, gratuities and wi-fi.  The first two passengers need to purchase it.  I've cruised with Princess Plus and without out the package.

For my last cruise, I did the math.  It was a 16 day cruise and we had 11 sea days so we would be on the ship more than most cruises.  The cost for Princess Plus Canadian is CAD $81.00 per person per day.  It includes 15 drinks, alcoholic, coffee or water; gratuities which for us was US$18.00 per day per person and wi-fi.  This is where I lose it.  They only give you one wi-fi device per person.  Both my husband and I have two devices so we need two sign ons each.  Yes, you can toggle between two devices, but that's a pain.

It would have cost me CAD$2,592.00 for Princess Plus

Gratuities cost me US$18.00 per person per day (we had a mini suite so it's more)  US$576.00   CAD $806.07

Wi-fi for 4 devices was CAD$500.94   (I get 50% off loyalty discount)

I never bought any alcohol on board.  I don't need the sugar or calories and I'm doing it for my health.  My husband rarely drinks and is fine without it.

I took my reusable water container so I never paid for water.

Princess has Lavazza coffee which is excellent.  Want a free coffee, go to the buffet!

My onboard charges:  CAD$ 1,307.01     Saved CAD$1,294.99

and I lost 1.5 pounds!!!!!    Next cruise, Standard fare not Princess Plus!

Flora Klein

I read a lot of stories online.  You never know what is fact or fiction.  This is fact and such a touching story of a very brave woman.

She survived the Holocaust by staying silent—then raised her son alone so he could scream for the world. Flora Klein was 14 years old when Nazi soldiers forced her family onto trains in Hungary. The year was 1940, and she was just a girl with a normal life, a family, a future. Within months, almost all of it was gone. Her parents. Her extended family. Her childhood. Everything vanished into the machinery of genocide, reduced to smoke and numbers. Flora and her brother survived. But survival in a Nazi concentration camp wasn't about luck alone—it was about strategy, silence, and an almost superhuman will to endure.

According to her son's accounts, when SS guards asked prisoners "Who speaks German?", Flora kept her hand down. Others volunteered, perhaps hoping language skills would help them. Many were never seen again. Flora learned: invisibility was survival. She was assigned to work in personal service—cutting the hair of a Nazi commander's wife, serving those who were murdering her people. She listened. She endured. She memorized everything she could. She made herself useful enough to keep alive, invisible enough not to be noticed.

When the war finally ended, Flora made her way to Israel. There, in 1949, she gave birth to a son: Chaim Witz. In 1958, when Chaim was eight years old, Flora made another impossible journey. She immigrated to New York—alone, with her young son, no husband, limited English, and the weight of everything she'd survived. They settled in Queens. Flora worked multiple jobs—seamstress, whatever she could find. Long hours. Hard work. Immigrant wages. But she had a purpose: her son would have the freedom to dream that she'd been denied.

Chaim grew up watching his mother's strength. He saw her work without complaint. He understood, even as a child, what it meant to survive impossible odds. And he promised himself he would make it all worthwhile.

The world came to know him as Gene Simmons—fire-breathing, tongue-wagging, larger-than-life frontman of KISS, one of the most successful rock bands in history. But Gene always knew exactly who the real hero was. "Everything I am is because of my mother," he said repeatedly throughout his career. He bought her a house. He brought her onstage at KISS concerts. He dedicated his memoir to her. He even tattooed her concentration camp number on his own body—a permanent reminder of what she survived, what she sacrificed, what she made possible. Flora never sought fame. Even as her son became a global icon, she remained private, humble, and quiet—the same survival instinct that had kept her alive decades earlier.

She passed away in 2018 at age 93. By then, she had lived to see her son achieve impossible success. She had lived to see her grandchildren thrive. She had lived to know that everything she endured—the camps, the losses, the poverty, the hard work—had created something beautiful. Her silence in that concentration camp, when guards asked "Who speaks German?", had preserved a life that would create another life, which would touch millions of lives.

Flora Klein's legacy isn't just that she survived. It's what she did with that survival. She could have been broken by what she experienced. She could have been consumed by trauma. She could have passed that pain to her son. Instead, she gave him strength. She gave him work ethic. She gave him the understanding that when the world tries to destroy you, you survive—and then you thrive so loudly that history has no choice but to hear you. Gene Simmons became famous for makeup, costumes, and spectacle. But beneath all of it was a boy who watched his mother refuse to be defeated, who learned that survival isn't passive—it's active, defiant, and determined. Some heroes wear makeup and take the stage. Others work double shifts in Queens, raise their sons alone, carry unspeakable trauma with quiet dignity, and never ask for recognition. Flora Klein was both kinds of hero. She survived by staying silent. And then she raised a son who would never have to.

Flowers in October!

We have a manhole in our side garden that was put in by the city.  They need to access it from time to time, but it's ugly.  A few years ago I purchased a barrel and filled it with flowers.  This year it looked great and it's near the end of October and is still looking good!

Day 16 - Last cruise day!

Today is the last day of this wonderful cruise.  The seas were mean last night but settled down to 4 foot swells after lunch.  We are rolling so it's not the type of seas that make many people ill.

Lots of activities planned today.  We had a relaxing breakfast and went to our 11th Progressive Trivia.  Many people played and it was a lot of fun.  There were a few teams that kept getting perfect scores.  That can happen, however, someone turned the cheaters is.  After that happened Ty, the activities director stopped giving us collective scores, but only the score of the last game.  He also started walking around and I'm sure he was aware of the cheaters.  Today we had the "awards ceremony".  Ty did a wonderful job of giving some people recognition.  The smallest team with the best score was an older couple.  The people who turned in the cheaters, and the people who were the most improved as the games went on.  We knew we wouldn't win, but went for fun.

They organized a ship choir.  I can't sing, but I admire people that can.  I always go to their performances:

People have started hiding ducks on cruise ships.  I've found them on previous cruises but never saw any on this cruise.  However, I really didn't look.  Here is what one passenger found:

We ended a wonderful day with two performances.  The piano guy from Crooners put on a wonderful performance in the Princess Theatre.

The singers and dancers put on another excellent show featuring New Orleans music.  The choreography singing and dancing was spectacular!   After the show the performers and crew met us all.

The cruise was a very good one.  The ship is smaller than most and old.  It's very well maintained.  Any problems you have are dealt with immediately.  The staff is excellent.  The food in the dining room was hit and miss.  I wouldn't call it bad, but some things were not too tasty.  However other entrees were excellent.  If you want a good steak or lobster you now pay for it.  If you want an additional meal, they charge you.  I think that's a great idea because I do not like seeing food wasted.

Day 15 - Rocking rolling gliding all along the Oregon coast

24 years ago we were on the old Holland America Ryndam.  It was so rough we couldn't even stand in our room.  We had the closest room to the bow and I've always booked mid-ship, mid-aft and aft ever since.

Yesterday we were told there is a storm and we will reroute to try to avoid as much as we can, however we would be going through 20 foot swells!  We are fine.  We are being very careful with what we eat and only drink water.  We are spending most of our time in the room as the rocking could make you fall.  The staff is wonderful and helping people around the ship.

Someone on Facebook said we would be late.  They were reading Cruise Mapper and the arrival time is 1300 on Tuesday.  However, that site uses UTC time which is Greenwich Mean Time.  I chatted with Guest Services and they said we will dock on time.

If you want the link to Cruise Mapper, I use it all the time and it's a great site:

Day 14 - At Sea

Life at home still goes on.  I knew when I left Richard's race horse was running this weekend.  I went online to see what time the race was as I planned on watching it.  I went to the website and saw this on the home page!  B the King is in Race 9 at Woodbine today!

I will post a copy of the race on my next blog and hope he does well.

We woke up to reasonably calm seas.  We've been told it's going to get rough but so far so good.  At noon, the officer of the bridge told us tomorrow we will get 6 meter or 20 foot waves.  It's going to be a fun ride into Vancouver.
Here is our route to Vancouver.  Looks a little mean in the north!

We participated in Progressive Trivia and regular Trivia.  Always fun, and you learn some facts that you will promptly forget.

Dinner was very good.  We both had rack of lamb and it never disappoints.  Beef Wellington was also offered but we've eaten beef two days in a row.  It looked good too as our next table ordered it and loved it.

Dan Delgado from Orange County was our headliner tonight.  He played his trumpet and sang a lot of songs from Herb Albert, Louis Prima, Al Hurt and many others.  He also sang and was a wonderful entertainer.  Another very enjoyable performance.

After dinner we went to the Universal Lounge and watched "Do You Want to Dance"?  It was very well done and this ship has some wonderful passenger talent.  They paired up a passenger with a crew member.  The winners danced to "My Hear Will Go On" from Titanic.  They danced and acted.  They were laying on the floor, ran up the stairs, leaned over the railing and then the gentleman dancer picked up a "10" paddle.  They were very entertaining.  She was from Vancouver and he was the band leader.  A great dancing pair who knew all the dances.  Watching her do "Irish Step Dancing" was wonderful.  She's obviously had lessons,

Another great day at sea!

Day 13 - At Sea

Last night they held the Elite Captains Circle Cocktail Party.  We rarely attend these.  We didn't this cruise because it was at 5 and 7.  We would miss our dinner reservation and the production show if we did.  I really didn't care.  We didn't want 5 PM dining, but when we were able to get a 5 PM reservation at a private table for 2 by a window, we took it!  I also found out many people lost their dining reservations, it wasn't only just us.

This morning at Breakfast, we sat with people who did attend the Elite Captains Circle Cocktail Party.  The Captain made a great speech.  He talked about the fishing net that was caught in the propeller and explained how they had to wait until they got to Honolulu to find divers to remove it.  He also told them about an impending huge storm in the Pacific.  I found this picture online and we are the blue dot:

Instead of sailing in a diagonal line from Hawaii to Vancouver, we are now on an easterly straight line to North America.  We will get close to San Francisco and then turn north to Canada.  The Oregon coast could be quite rough.  If it is, we could be delayed arriving in Vancouver.  I hope not for all those with flights booked!  That's a good reason to book Princess EZ Air.  If we are late and you miss your flight, they rebook you at no charge.  The seas are pretty calm for the North Pacific right now.

We played Progressive Trivia and Ty, the crew member who does this trivia, was walking all around making sure no one was using their phone.  One lady said "we are watching the Blue Jays!"  Yes, they were but they weren't playing.  Another group said they were watching the game too.  However, they are the ones with the perfect score and he kept on walking by them and watching.  He started the Trivia by saying "this is for fun".  Our team is getting a respectable amount of right answers but we get our share of wrong ones.  We are having a lot of laughs and a good time.  We started out last, however we have really improved and are in the middle somewhere,  We don't care as we've teamed up with a lovely couple from Edmonton and enjoy Trivia every sea day.

Dinner was Steak Diane and it was very good.  After dinner they had the Checkerboard Guy again and he didn't disappoint.  He is very funny and a good juggler.  Before the show, he came into the audience and spoke with people in the audience.

After his show we went to the Universal Lounge and watched the Marriage Match.  We've seen these game shows on every cruise we've been to and they never disappoint.  Cruise Director Andy did an excellent job of emceeing it.

Day 12 - At Sea

Another wonderful day at sea.  There are many activities and the temperature is 75F so the pool is busy.

It is Formal Night.  Lots of entertainment is offered and dinner in the dining room was superb.  I started out with escargot and then had surf and turf!

This is page 2, page 1 had the appetizers and other goodies you could order

Chocolate Pistachio Dome!  Filled with delicious chocolate mousse.

If you've never seen Silent Disco, it's a hoot.  Everyone gets headphones with many genre of songs loaded on them.  Everyone dances to different songs.  Different dances, different pace and it's hilarious to watch.

I'm continually amazed by the entertainment on the Coral Princess---it's truly exceptional.  The variety is incredible, and every performance has been a joy.  From the elegant live music of Baltic Strings to the vibrant Hawaiian music and dancing, the atmosphere is always alive with energy.

Luis Ramos’s guitar and vocals were soulful and captivating, and Chase Lewis at the Piano Bar created such a warm, inviting vibe. And tonight’s production, Spectacular, featuring the ship’s talented singers and dancers, was exactly that—spectacular in every sense.

It’s been such a treat to experience this level of artistry and fun at sea.

I was enjoying Spectacular so much, I didn't get many pictures.  They sang and danced to songs from Cher, WWII, and Broadway!  The dancing, singing and costumes were delightful.

After Spectacular, we went to Abba Party and it was so much fun!

The end of another glorious day at sea!

Day 11 - At Sea

Laurie took this picture early in the morning!  What a lovely rainbow.  We saw four rainbows today.  It's only rained for a short period and it's still very warm!

It was a lovely day at sea.  Calm waters and many activities.

The Princess staff are everywhere—warm smiles, crisp uniforms, and genuine hospitality radiating from every corner of the ship. Whether you're stepping into the atrium or strolling along the deck, there's always someone nearby offering a cheerful greeting or a helpful hand. Their presence makes the ship feel not just luxurious, but truly welcoming. You can tell they love what they do—and it shows in every interaction.

Our entertainment tonight in the theatre was Ebony and Ivory a singing duo team.  Nathan Chester and Emily Viancourt.  They are engaged and their voices were majestic!  Nathan came in fourth on the Voice Season 25.  A delightful concert.

Day 10 - Maui

We had a nice breakfast watching the ship dock.  We've all been here before and didn't want to do a shore excursion.  Cec and Laurie didn't want to go ashore.  Julie was told there was a free bus to a mall, so Julie and I headed out.  There was no bus only taxi's.  I looked at the mall that was a 15 minute walk from the ship not that we would walk it, but there were cabs and I could also order an Uber.  The mall had very little in it, no stores we were interested in.  We came back on board and had a wonderful swim.  It's always nice when the ship docks and you stay on board because there are very few people on board and it's quiet.

After a delicious dinner, we went to the show that's earlier than the usual time as they are having a deck party.  The Checkerboard Guy is performing.  We got to the theatre early and he came and spoke to us!
He gave us those cards to keep as souviners!

He told us he just flew in from Victoria to Maui today!  He lives in Shirley, BC.  It's 57 KM west of Victoria.  He's been doing juggling and magic for 40 years.  I asked him what his favorite cruise was and he said "I did a cruise with the Bare Naked Ladies on Carnival Cruise Lines".  In spirit of the band, they said you could come with only a bath robe on to the pool deck for a party.  He took his 6' unicycle and dressed only in a bathrobe.  They played and at one part asked anyone who wanted to take off their robe.  He said "all the robes came off, including mine and I was riding my unicycle"!  After a lot of laughs, people were having problems finding their robe with the room keys as robes were everywhere!

His show was excellent.  He was funny and really had the crowd cheering and clapping for all his magic tricks.  He was quite the comedian and the show was really good.  All the other headline entertainers left today and we have a new set of theatre acts.  Princess has an excellent team that books entertainment.  That's why we keep sailing on Princess!

Here is a snippit of his performance:

Day 9 - Hilo .. Happy Canadian Thanksgiving

We arrived at Hilo at 9 AM, 1 hour earlier than scheduled.  It was a beautiful day.  They rolled many decorations for Canadian Thanksgiving!

There were Canadian Flags all around the ship.  On staircases, in bars and in the common areas.

Here is the dinner menu in the main dining room
In the Princess Theatre the Princess World Orchestra performed an around the world tribute.  There were 11 excellent musicians and two singers.  They played sounds from England: Hey Judy; Australia: I Still Call Australia Home; US: Uptown Funk, and when it came time for Canada:  Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen.  It was a beautiful arrangement.

A wonderful concert and a great way to end a glorious day!

Day 8 - Honolulu not Kauai

The Koningsdam docked beside us today in Honolulu

Another lovely day in Honolulu.  It's very hot and we've decided to stay on board and enjoy the ship.  They just revised the Princess Patter and they added a lot of activities.  Our friends at trivia from Edmonton told me about a Facebook page for this cruise.  I found it and I joined it.  My husband said when the violent shaking was going on that it could be a fishing net caught in a propeller.  We owned a few boats over the years.  As I was told it was an engine problem, I believed that.  Others were told 'the wind', and 'the stabilizers'.  A member of the Facebook page, posted this picture and a detailed video yesterday that now proves, it was a net in the propeller.  I'm happy the engine is ok!

There is a video that shows a huge amount of net being taken out of the water!  I can't show the video but here is a picture they captured of the net removed from the propeller.

We decided to stay on board today as they changed the patter and added a lot more activities including open dining in the Bordeaux dining room at lunch.  Very few people were there.  We asked for a shared table and got a table for 6 (no one else joined the four of us).  We sat with Monica and Lorne.  Lorne lives in Oceania Parc along with my friend Jean!  They know each other.  What a small world.

After lunch they showed the movie "The Life of Chuck".  It was based on a book written by Stephen King and had an "R" rating.  You heard profane language but no sex or nudity.  The story and acting were excellent.  In 2024, it won the Toronto Film Festival's Peoples Choice Award.  A very interesting film and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The Toronto Blue Jays are playing the Seattle Mariners in the American League Division series.  It's not shown on TV.  I sent a text to crew chat and they said "if it isn't on TV, we aren't showing it".  You would think with more than 1500 Canadians on board, they would purchase the right as we have a lot of sea days and there are a lot of upset baseball fans.  I expected better from Princess!

The Company Men were our entertainment.  They were a first class act!  Their voices are so harmonizing.  They sang many songs from Motown and did mashup.  It was another excellent concert!

Day 7 - Honolulu

We arrived at 7 AM into Honolulu right by the Aloha Tower.  What a beautiful day, its 80F!

The Pride of America is docked today too!  Beautiful day it's 80F!

We walked around the Aloha Tower shops.  There was a free bus to Hilo Hatties at Ala Moana Mall, so we took the bus with Laurie and Julie.  The mall is huge and we went back to Hilo Hatties as you need to buy something at their store.  We purchased chocolate covered macadamia nuts and they are delicious.

We came back to the ship and the power was off.  As we are on the 10th floor, we just waited in a lounge until it came back on.  The captain made an announcement at 7:45 PM.  He said the generator is repaired but they did not finish the mandatory Coast Guard inspection today.  Therefore, we will not leave Honolulu tonight.  We will miss Kauai tomorrow but stay in port at Honolulu for another day.  All shore excursions will be reimbursed to your account and you will all receive an on board credit of USD $100.00 per person.  We've been to Kauai before so we aren't to concerned.  I'm sorry for those who were looking forward to it.

After a delicious lamb shank dinner, we went to the local show.  It was from a Hulu School and they were excellent.

It was a very colourful and enjoyable concert.  The music and stories were lovely.  A nice way to end a great day.

Day 6 - At Sea

This is the view from our balcony.  The seas are so calm and the colour of the water is beautiful.  It's 26C!   We are getting close to Honolulu.

We slept in again today.  This has been a very relaxing time.  We handed in Cec's ukulele as the ukulele lessons keep conflicting with progressive trivia.  We don't want to let our team down.  We are doing better but no way in a position to win.  For us, it's fun.  We are not competitive and have lots of laughs.

The show lounge tonight featured Willis White again.  We really enjoyed him the first time.  He sang classic songs from Michael Buble, Louis Armstrong, and a gorgeous rendition of The Impossible Dream.  I knew all the songs and his voice is mellow.   A wonderful way to end the night.

I was a little late getting the sunset, but managed to capture this from our window table in the dining room.

Christmas gift?
